Spring Break
It's that time of year again folks...almost Spring Break! I cannot wait. I am so sick of school. Why is it that we are so excited to leave home and go out on our own, yet now we want to go back? We long for home cooked food, playing all afternoon, pretty much no responsibilities. I wish I could be a kid again, they have it made...if only they knew that now. I think going home gives me a little glimpse of what used to be...and its fun to step out of the reality of school, work, life as a college student, and enjoy spending time with my family. For those of you who don't know, I will be commissioned as a 2LT in the United States Army right after I graduate from good ol' APU. So I cherish these last few times I will get to spend with my family. I have no idea yet where I will be this summer, but for starters I have to go to Virginia for Officers Basic Course which will be about a semester long. I don't know when I'm leaving but it could be soon after graduation...so I guess what I'm trying to say is savor this time you get to spend with your family, you can always go to Hawaii, Cabo, Mexico...but time with your family is priceless..so that is where I will be this spring break-home. Also I am visiting my beautiful girlfriends family and spending a few days with them. Should be fun! Hang in there everyone, only a week and a half until we are free for a few days!!!
